election week 5

Florida-its hard to imagine McCain's victory without Florida. Obama said that he thinks he can win the election without the electoral college 27 Florida vote. It Will definitely work to his advantage to have a democratic surge in voting but he needs to work on some of the states main constituencies. My prediction is that they will go republican. they have for many years and there is alot of older people there.

Virginia- Va hasvoted democratic once since 1948 but northern virginia has been leaning democratic this election and they are the main power house of VA. i think that they are going to go republican becuase of the amount of people that have have such high incomes and dont want to get all those high taxes from obama

Yeah it seems like everyone around northern virginia has been going for obama. everywhere you look theres obama bumper stickers on people cars and even kids in school wearing crazy obama shirts. But the face that everyone has such high income taxes makes sense for people to vote for McCain. I dunno us virginians are really tricky...

Hey Kylie,
Great job, I completely agree with your prediction for Virginia. While NOVA is mainly democratic, I believe that there is so much support for McCain in the rest of the state that he will take our thirteen electoral votes.
